Our School
St Luke Catholic High School offers an alternative learning environment that allows students to learn by doing! Small class sizes enable teachers to address gaps in learning and to ensure all students are successful.
St Luke offers a grade 7/8 Foundation Program and two high school pathways:
- The high school Workplace Pathway prepares students for Apprenticeships such as Welding and employment after high school.
- The high school College Pathway prepares students for many College Programs such as Automotives, Business and Hospitality.
In both English and Math, St Luke specializes in the real life skills needed for success in future post secondary programs and employment.
Financial Literacy is a major focus of learning in all grades – especially in Grade 11 where students explore financial institutions, owning a vehicle and budgeting for a trip.
Senior students are encouraged to participate in the Ontario Dual Credit Program – see the stories of our students who have completed dual credits!
Within each pathway, St Luke offers Specialist High Skills Major in both our Hospitality/Tourism Program and our Trade and Technology Program.
Students, through their coop placement, also have the opportunity to complete their Level 1 Apprenticeship through OYAP in Grade 12 – see the stories of our students who have completed their level 1 with us.
